We are excited to report that ABFM’s annual research conference will take place, in person, at the Georgetown Marriott Hotel in Washington, DC.

Call for Proposals

The  Association for Budgeting & Financial Management is accepting proposals for panels, papers and posters to be presented at its 33rd Annual Conference this fall.


The conference proposal deadline has been extended to June 18, 2021.

Advancing Public Sector Finance

The Association for Budgeting and Financial Management (ABFM) is a section of the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA).  ABFM aims to promote the professional development of budgeting and financial management in the public and non-profit sectors.

Membership in ABFM is available on its own or as an affiliation with ASPA.
