The deadline for submitting grant proposals for the Governmental Accounting Standards Board’s (GASB) Gilbert W. Crain Memorial Research Grant Program is May 31, 2021. The GASB plans to award two grants of up to $10,000 each by the end of June 2021. Details can be found in the Request for Research.
The Crain Grants are intended to encourage research that is relevant to the GASB’s standards-setting activities. The Request for Research suggests certain research topics that would be particularly timely, but applicants may propose research on any topic that would further the GASB’s standards setting.
