The Association for Budgeting and Financial Management (ABFM) is now accepting proposals from institutions, universities, or organizations interested in hosting our 2028 Annual Conference. We invite interested hosts to review the attached Request for Proposals (RFP) and the accompanying proposal template spreadsheet, which will help structure your submission. Proposals should demonstrate the capacity to deliver a high-quality academic and professional conference that advances ABFM’s mission in public budgeting and financial management.
The RFP provides a complete overview of ABFM’s expectations for a top quality hosting location, including detail on expected venue capacity, hotel room block requirements, air travel capabilities, ground transportation logistics, and more. The information requested in the RFP serves as the basis for the information to be included in the proposal worksheet, which will enable effective review of proposals by the Conference Site Selection Committee.
