Assistant or Associate Professor of Educational Finance, Policy and Politics

THE UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON, SEATTLE, College of Education, seeks to fill a nine-month, full-time position for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in the area of Educational Finance, Policy, and Politics, with a focus on educational equity in P-12 settings. This position involves active research agendas in educational finance, as well as the intersections between finance and the politics of education, or the intersections between finance and other aspects of educational policy. This position may also involve quantitative methods and collaborating with qualitative or mixed methods scholars. In this role, the successful candidate will bring an explicit equity lens to their scholarship, with a focus on examining resource distribution, management arrangements, and other policies, especially at the state-level, that hinder or foster equitable public education for historically marginalized students.
