Assistant Professor – Public/Nonprofit Budgeting & Financial Management

The School of Public Administration, University of Nebraska Omaha, seeks applicants for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor with an emphasis in public and nonprofit budgeting and financial management, to begin August 2019. A Ph.D. in Public Administration or a relevant field is required by the employment start date. We seek candidates who will make significant contributions in our doctoral and masters programs in teaching and research related to budgeting and financial management. Preference will be given to candidates who have the ability to teach in these areas from both public and nonprofit perspectives, and to those who have expertise in quantitative research methods. The course teaching load for this position is 2:2. Candidates should also be able to teach in both face-to-face and online settings, and demonstrate promise of excellence in research, teaching, and a commitment to community engagement.
